Breakdown of the service
The website core designs are created and built on a staging server allowing pages to be built / tested and then finally approved within a safe controlled environment.
Throughout the development life-cycle testing will be carried out on an iterative basis ensuring each element is thoroughly tested. Once the individual elements are working as expected we will carry out full end to end testing and resultssubmitted for client approval
Once the website content is ready it will be transferred to the live production environment where it will undergo a final round of testing to ensure it is performing as well as it was within the Staging environment. Once approved it is ready for Go Live
The website is published online and rigorous testing is carried out to ensure that bugs have not appeared once the service has changed.

We used the Colouring Department to develop a new website for a research project run jointly by three universities. The Mathematics for Deep Learning programme needed a website that looked fresh and interesting and was easy to navigate in order to explain the quite complex work that we do.
